When you have a blank page can you see a vision for it or do you just see the blank page?
Our vision is very important to us. It is very important for us to see what is going on around us. It is important that you see something in 2010.
“If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.” (The Message)
Gen 15:1-2, 11-14
“After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?” (1-2 KJV)
“And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him. And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.” (11-14 KJV)
v.1 After these things-what are “these things”? The battle(s).
Many people have been through battles in 2009.
1. Battles for our Faith
2. Battles for our Families
3. Battles for our finances
4. Battles for our health
If 2009 was a battle for you then 2010 will be a year of the Word of the Lord for you. In 2010 I am going to have a vision. I will Fear Not. What you thought was dead in 2009 God is going to revive/change in 2010. Fear comes from past experiences. We hold on to that fear like a teddy bear; especially when it is from childhood experiences.
2 Timothy 1:7
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (KJV)
If you are fearful of something other than God then that is not from God. We must charge forward with faith. Pop the clutch in 2010. There is a wind of change coming.
1 John 4:4
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” (KJV)
v.1 God called Abram by name. This is the first time God did that.
Psalm 8:4 “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” (KJV)
Do not fear Sherry I am your shield.
Even when you do not know that he is there protecting you he is. Remember the parent and child.
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” (KJV)
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” (KJV)
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” (NIV)
"Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” (NAS)
“Instead of your shame you will have a double portion, And instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore they will possess a double portion in their land, Everlasting joy will be theirs.” (NAS)
The world wants to deter us from what God is saying/doing in us. Look at what you do have that God can use/build upon.
